Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Head to lead end-to-end New Product Development activities, from customer requirements and feasibility to successful product launch and production handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end NPD projects from RFQ to SOP*.
Review customer drawings, specifications and conduct product/process feasibility.

Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC* activities.
Coordinate product development, tooling, fixtures, prototypes and trials.

Manage NPD timelines, milestones, costing and project status*.

Coordinate with Customer, Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchase and PPC* teams.




Handle customer technical discussions, approvals and engineering changes (ECN).
Ensure smooth transition of recent products from development to mass production.

Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, process improvement and manufacturability*.
Lead and develop the NPD team and ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills

Robust knowledge of Automotive NPD and APQP/PPAP*.

Good understanding of plastic injection moulding, tooling and assemblies*.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
Solid project management, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.

Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive customer requirements* preferred.
Experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive component industry preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
