Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapy to improve activities of daily living (ADLs).
Help patients develop or regain motor, coordination, and functional skills.
Provide rehabilitation for patients recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or neurological conditions.
Conduct therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
Recommend and train patients in the use of assistive devices when required.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercises and daily activities.
Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare specialists.
Maintain accurate patient records and therapy reports.
Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
