Job Description: Electrician – Waste Management Project (Thrissur)

Position: Electrician
Location: Thrissur, Kerala
Reporting to: Project/Site Supervisor

Role Summary:
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at the waste management/biogas plant site, ensuring protected and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, motors, and control systems at the plant
Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery (conveyors, pumps, blowers, generators, etc.)
Carry out routine preventive maintenance as per schedule
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety protocols
Coordinate with plant operators and maintenance team for smooth plant functioning




Maintain records of maintenance work, spare parts usage, and equipment condition
Respond promptly to breakdowns/emergencies to minimize downtime

Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1–2 years' experience in industrial/plant electrical maintenance (waste management, biogas, or manufacturing preferred)
Valid electrician license/wireman certificate
Knowledge of LT panels, motors, and control wiring
Willingness to work in office in Thrissur

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
