HR Intern – Job Description

Designation: HR Intern
Department: Human Resources
Reporting To: HR Manager / HR Executive

Job Purpose

To assist the HR team in day-to-day HR activities including attendance, recruitment, employee documentation, onboarding, and employee coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Attendance Management
Assist in collecting and verifying daily employee attendance.
Compare manual attendance with biometric attendance.
Identify and report attendance discrepancies.
Assist in maintaining attendance records.
Recruitment Support
Coordinate with candidates for interviews.
Make recruitment follow-up calls.
Maintain candidate details and interview records.
Assist in collecting joining documents.
Employee Documentation
Maintain employee files and HR records.
Assist in updating employee master data.
Verify employee documents and forms.
Support preparation of HR reports and registers.
Onboarding & Joining
Assist new employees with joining formalities.
Explain basic HR procedures and documentation.




Coordinate with departments for recent employee allocation.
Employee Coordination
Assist in handling basic employee queries.
Coordinate with branch/production teams regarding HR-related matters.
Escalate employee concerns to the HR Manager when required.
Daily HR Activities
Assist the HR team in preparing Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
Maintain HR registers and records.
Support leave, permission, and advance/loan documentation.
Assist in organizing employee meetings and HR activities.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
Good communication skills
Basic HR knowledge
Ability to maintain confidential information
Positive coordination and follow-up skills
Willingness to learn HR processes
Time management and attention to detail

Qualification

BBA / MBA – HR

Experience: Fresher / Internship experience preferred.

Pay: ₹3,000.00 per month
