Job Description

PixNest is looking for a creative Cameraman & Video Editor to join our team in Trichy. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of camera operations, lighting, shooting techniques, and video editing, with an interest in creating engaging content for brands and social media.

Key Responsibilities

Camera & Video Production
Handle camera for professional photo and video shoots
Shoot Instagram Reels, promotional videos, advertisements, and brand content
Plan and execute indoor and outdoor shoots
Set up and manage basic lighting and audio equipment
Frame shots effectively and maintain good composition
Work with the creative team to understand concepts and shooting requirements
Capture high-quality footage suitable for social media and digital platforms

Video Editing
Edit Instagram Reels and short-form videos
Edit promotional, marketing, and brand videos
Add transitions, text, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
Perform basic colour correction and colour grading
Sync and clean audio where required
Export videos in suitable formats for Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
Organize and manage raw footage and project files





Required Software Skills
Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
Adobe Photoshop
Canva
Or Any other video editing Tools

Camera & Technical Skills
Good knowledge of DSLR / Mirrorless cameras
Understanding of camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed, and aperture
Basic knowledge of lighting and audio equipment
Good understanding of framing, composition, and camera movements
Knowledge of different video formats and aspect ratios

Education
Any Degree / Diploma

Passion for photography and videography
Basic understanding of video storytelling
Good attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to learn current camera and editing techniques
Portfolio / Showreel of previous work will be an advantage
