Quality Engineer

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering drawings, measuring instruments, GD&T;, and surface treatment inspection. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection and adherence to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and Dial Gauge.
Inspect components as per GD&T; requirements.
Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Inspect components before and after surface treatment processes (Powder Coating, Painting, Plating, Anodizing, etc.).
Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.




Identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with Production and other departments to maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company quality procedures.

Requirements
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of engineering drawing reading.
Hands-on knowledge of measuring instruments.
Understanding of GD&T.;
Knowledge of surface treatment processes.
Valuable communication and problem-solving skills.
Freshers with strong technical knowledge or experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
