We are looking for a skilled Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our Fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, setting up jobs, and producing sheet metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC Laser Cutting machines for sheet metal components.
Read and understand engineering drawings and cutting requirements.
Load and unload sheet metal materials safely.
Set machine parameters based on material type and thickness.
Load programs and perform basic program adjustments as required.
Select appropriate cutting parameters and assist in nozzle/tool changes.
Monitor the cutting process and ensure smooth machine operation.
Check component dimensions and cut quality.
Identify and report machine, material, or cutting-related issues.
Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of the machine.
Maintain proper material identification and job traceability.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets.
Maintain workplace cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Eligibility & Skills
Qualification: ITI / Diploma – Mechanical preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in CNC Laser Cutting preferred.
Knowledge of sheet metal cutting operations.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Basic knowledge of CNC machine operation and cutting parameters.
Knowledge of different sheet metal materials and thicknesses is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Positive discipline, teamwork, and safety awareness.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
