You will own recruiting and the full employee lifecycle for a small, deeply technical workforce building autonomous maritime platforms. What you will own:
End-to-end recruiting for technical and engineering roles, from sourcing through offer negotiation and close
Induction and onboarding for current hires, so they're productive rapid
Performance management across the team, and graceful, well-handled exits when they happen
Championing company culture and values as the team grows
Day-to-day HR administration and statutory/labour law compliance
Being the go-to point of contact for both leadership and employees on HR matters
You have:
5+ years of hands-on HR experience, including recruiting talent for deeply technical workforces
Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing hires against competing offers
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of HR compliance and admin (labour law, statutory filings, policy administration)
Flexibility to move between recruiting, compliance, admin, and culture work as the day demands
Bonus: experience in defence, deep-tech, or hardware/engineering-heavy organizations
