B.Sc. in Microbiology / Life Sciences / Biotechnology (or relevant discipline) with minimum 3 years of research/lab experience OR M.Sc. in the same disciplines with minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a molecular biology lab and molecular techniques

Currently living in, or willing to immediately relocate to, the study location you are applying for (Bhopal / Raipur)

Age 35 years or below

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lab Technician will run the molecular diagnostics workflow at the assigned hub laboratory.
Handling and timely processing of samples collected from participating health facilities
Conducting RT-PCR assays as per study SOPs
Collating lab results and preparing result reports
Maintaining study documentation and real-time reporting to FMR




Support Project Scientist if required for project activities
Contributing to writing scientific papers for publication
Supporting other project-related scientific/technical activities

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Solid knowledge of microbiology and molecular biology
Proficiency in English and Hindi or the local language
Attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Familiarity with biosafety and laboratory quality control
Ability to work independently as well as in a team

DESIRABLE SKILLS
Experience handling infectious clinical samples
Experience in molecular biology techniques, especially PCR-based methods
Positive Laboratory Practices (GLP) and biosafety training
