Role & responsibilities
Lead the complete launch, operations and growth of VRides in the assigned city.
Develop and execute the city launch and expansion strategy.
Recruit, onboard and activate Bike, Auto and Cab Captains.
Build and manage Zone Managers, Field Executives and other city-level teams.
Achieve targets for active Captains, completed rides, customer acquisition and revenue.
Develop local marketing initiatives and business partnerships.
Monitor Captain availability, acceptance rates and cancellation rates.
Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve operational issues.
Coordinate with central Operations and Technology teams to resolve city-level issues.
Manage the approved city budget and control operational expenses.
Track city-level KPIs and submit regular reports to Head Office.
Identify prospects to increase ride volume and revenue.
Build relationships with Captains, fleet owners, local businesses and other stakeholders.
Take ownership of city-level operational performance and profitability.

Preferred candidate profile
58 years of relevant experience in ride-hailing, mobility, logistics, fleet management,



transportation, delivery operations or field operations.
Graduate degree required; MBA preferred.
Solid knowledge of the assigned city's geography and transportation ecosystem.
Experience managing field teams and achieving operational targets.
Experience in driver/Captain acquisition and fleet operations is preferred.
Robust leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently manage city-level operations.
Willingness to work extensively in the field during city launch and expansion.
Robust understanding of KPIs, revenue, cost control and team performance.
