Role & responsibilities
Design and develop investment casting dies, patterns & tooling as per customer requirements.
Prepare and modify 2D drawings & 3D models using CAD software.
Develop tooling considering shrinkage, machining allowance, draft & casting requirements.
Review customer drawings and ensure design feasibility for investment casting.
Coordinate with Production, Foundry, QA/QC & NPD teams for smooth development.
Support new product development, tooling trials & modifications.
Identify and resolve die/tooling-related casting issues.
Maintain design drawings, tooling records & revision control.
Ensure designs meet quality, dimensional and production requirements.

PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE




Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
Experience in Investment Casting Die & Tool Design preferred.
Solid knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD software.
Understanding of casting design, shrinkage, machining allowance & tooling.
Experience in new product development and die development.
Positive knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good coordination with NPD, Production, Quality & Foundry teams.
Candidates with relevant foundry / investment casting experience will be preferred.
