About the Role
Pan Infotech is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage billing, invoicing, and inventory documentation using Tally Prime. The ideal candidate is comfortable with day-to-day bookkeeping as well as verifying stock (serial numbers) before billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage sales/purchase bills and invoices in Tally Prime accurately and on time
- Scan and record serial numbers of products against corresponding bills
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement tied to billing documentation
- Reconcile bills with inventory records to prevent mismatches or discrepancies
- Handle GST-compliant invoicing and basic tax documentation in Tally Prime
- Maintain day-to-day accounts (purchases, sales, expenses) in Tally Prime
- Coordinate with the sales/warehouse team to ensure billing matches physical stock
- Prepare periodic reports (daily sales, stock reconciliation, pending payments)
- Assist with GST filing and other statutory compliance as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent)
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting/billing
- Working knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory
- Familiarity with GST invoicing and basic compliance
- Comfortable using barcode/serial number scanners or willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Basic MS Excel skills
Salary: 25,000-30,000/- per month
