Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive – NVOCC to join our team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day NVOCC operations, coordinating with shipping lines, customers, agents, transporters, and internal teams, and ensuring smooth and timely shipment execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end NVOCC shipment operations from booking to final delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customers, transporters, and other stakeholders.
- Manage booking confirmations, shipping instructions, BL drafts, amendments, and documentation.
- Coordinate vessel schedules, container allocation, loading, and shipment movements.
- Prepare and verify House BL / Master BL documentation.
- Follow up on container pickup, gate-in, sailing, transshipment, and arrival status.
- Coordinate with CHA/customs teams for export and import documentation, where applicable.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or operational issues.
- Coordinate with overseas agents regarding shipment details and documentation.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems regularly.




- Handle customer queries and provide timely operational updates.
- Coordinate with accounts team regarding freight invoices, charges, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping documentation requirements.
- Resolve operational issues and ensure smooth execution of shipments within agreed timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline; logistics/supply chain qualification is an advantage.
- 1–4 years of experience in NVOCC, shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of export/import shipping procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with BL, booking, container, vessel, and shipment processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Solid follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidates currently working in NVOCC / Freight Forwarding / Shipping Operations will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join at short notice are strongly preferred.
- Candidates based in Mumbai or willing to relocate to Mumbai can apply.
