Description

Design & Engineering

- Prepare and review detailed designs for Ground Mounted and Rooftop Solar PV projects.
- Perform system sizing, energy yield assessment, and performance analysis using PVsyst.
- Develop layout drawings, SLDs (Single Line Diagrams), cable routing, earthing layouts, and equipment layouts.
- Optimize plant design considering generation, land utilization, shadow analysis, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate module orientation, string sizing, inverter selection, and BOS optimization.

Technical Coordination

- Coordinate with project execution, procurement, and O&M; teams for smooth project implementation.
- Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.
- Review vendor drawings and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local electrical standards, safety norms, and client specifications.

Project Management

- Manage multiple solar projects simultaneously from concept to commissioning stage.




- Monitor design timelines and ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables.
- Conduct site feasibility studies and technical evaluations.
- Resolve design-related issues during execution.

Documentation & Quality

- Prepare BOQ, technical documentation, and design reports.
- Maintain engineering records and project documentation.
- Ensure quality and standardization in all design deliverables.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Solar PV system design for Ground Mounted and Rooftop projects.
- Hands-on expertise in PVsyst and sketchup software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, SCADA, HT/LT systems, and switchgear.
- Understanding of relevant IEC, MNRE, and electrical safety standards.
- Good project coordination and team management skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
