PHE & FPS BIM Modeler (Revit) is responsible for creating, developing, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models for Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Fire Protection Systems (FPS) using Autodesk Revit. The role includes preparing Approval/GFC drawings, developing coordinated PHE and FPS layouts, resolving clashes, extracting quantities, and ensuring project deliverables comply with project specifications, client requirements, and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and coordinate the following PHE & FPS system layouts:
- Domestic cold water distribution layouts
- Domestic hot water distribution layouts
- Drainage and wastewater layouts
- Soil and vent piping layouts
- Storm water drainage layouts
- Rainwater harvesting system layouts
- Irrigation water network layouts
- Fire water distribution layouts
- Fire hydrant system layouts
- Hose reel system layouts
- Automatic sprinkler system layouts
- Clean agent and special fire suppression system layouts (where applicable)
- PHE & FPS containment and equipment layouts including tanks, pumps, valves, pipe supports, and accessories

- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) layouts for PHE and FPS services, including plans, sections, elevations, and 3D views.
- Develop and update PHE & FPS BIM models based on design inputs, engineer comments, and project requirements.
- Prepare schematics, riser diagrams, isometric drawings, and coordination drawings as required.




- Perform clash detection using Navisworks and coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, HVAC, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support the resolution of interdisciplinary coordination issues.
- Extract quantities from BIM models and Navisworks for material take-offs (BOQ) and project estimation purposes.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), LOD requirements, client standards, local authority regulations, fire authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support BIM Coordinators, PHE Engineers, Fire Protection Engineers, and Project Teams during design development, coordination, and construction stages.
- Manage model revisions and updates and ensure timely delivery of project BIM deliverables.

Required Skills

- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience in PHE and Fire Protection systems modeling and coordination.
- Knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and LOD requirements.
- Understanding of multidisciplinary coordination processes.
- Ability to read and interpret PHE/FPS design drawings, specifications, hydraulic calculations, and schematics.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
