Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate to join our Tax Data Transformation team at KPMG Global Services (KGS). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team lead in managing data-driven projects, ensuring data quality, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

1. Data Management and Analysis:

- Collaborate with team members to manage and analyze large datasets from various sources.

- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

- Perform advanced data analysis and generate insights to support business decisions.

- Create visualizations, data solutions and reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.

2. Project Management:

- Assist the team lead in planning, executing, and monitoring data-driven projects.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within timelines.

3. Quality Assurance:

- Develop and implement data quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

- Conduct regular data audits and perform root cause analysis for any data discrepancies.

- Work closely with data engineers to maintain and improve data infrastructure.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:





- Communicate complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a transparent and concise manner.

- Act as a liaison between the Data and Analytics Team and other departments to facilitate data-sharing and collaboration.

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.

- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

- Participate in knowledge sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.

- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms like Azure or AWS.

- Understanding of SDLC tools and framework.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
