Requirements

We are looking for an experienced BeyondTrust Password Safe / PAM Consultant to join our IAM/PAM operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in BeyondTrust Password Safe implementation, administration, privileged account onboarding, troubleshooting, integrations, upgrades, and production support.

The candidate will work on advanced PAM operations, lead complex onboarding activities, support platform enhancements, and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure secure and reliable PAM operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced day-to-day administration and operational support for BeyondTrust Password Safe.

- Troubleshoot complex IAM/PAM issues across incident, problem, and change management processes.





- Lead onboarding of applications, servers, and privileged accounts into the BeyondTrust Password Safe platform.

- Configure and manage Smart Rules, Discovery, Assets, Directory Queries, Access Policies, and Password Policies.

- Manage privileged accounts across Windows, Linux/Unix, databases, ESXi, application and service accounts.

- Build and support minor enhancements and integrations using APIs and standard BeyondTrust platform capabilities.

- Lead platform releases, version upgrades, security patches, hotfixes, appliance deployments, and migration activities.

- Participate in CAB and change management activities, including release validation and rollback coordination.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, root-cause analysis, and resolution of recurring production issues.

- Coordinate with internal teams, application owners, infrastructure teams, and BeyondTrust support to resolve platform and application issues.

- Configure and support session recording, logging, reporting, and operational controls across PAM-managed assets.

- Establish Smart Rules to enable appropriate role-based access for users on managed servers.

- Implement application-based access control and isolation where required.

- Support PRA and Jump technology to enable secure third-party/vendor access without requiring VPN connectivity.

- Track SLA performance, operational metrics,



and service quality for assigned PAM modules.

- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, KB articles, onboarding guides, and technical documentation.

- Lead incident communications and provide clear, client-ready status updates to stakeholders.

- Participate in audits and provide required documentation for security and compliance activities.

- Train junior team members and support knowledge transfer within the IAM/PAM team.

- Support IAM/PAM proof-of-concepts and contribute to the adoption of emerging IAM technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech / M.Tech / MS / MBA or equivalent qualification.

- 7+ years of overall IT experience preferred, with the relevant experience aligned to the role.

- 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing BeyondTrust Password Safe projects.

- Strong experience in BeyondTrust Password Safe administration, implementation, configuration, and production support.

- Proven experience leading privileged account and application onboarding.

- Hands-on experience onboarding accounts from:
- Windows

- Linux/Unix

- Databases

- ESXi

- Application and service accounts

- Strong experience configuring and supporting BeyondTrust integrations.

- Advanced troubleshooting and log-analysis experience, including working with BeyondTrust Support.

- Experience with upgrades, patches, hotfixes, appliance deployment, and migration activities.

- Solid understanding of incident, problem, change management, ticketing workflows, CAB processes, and operational governance.
