About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, website management, and search engine optimization.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of WordPress development, front-end technologies, website performance, on-page SEO, technical SEO, and SEO best practices. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites while implementing SEO strategies to improve website visibility, rankings, traffic, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites and themes.
- Customize and manage WordPress plugins and page builders based on business requirements.
- Build responsive and user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress tools.
- Implement on-page SEO, including keyword optimization, meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities to improve organic search visibility.
- Implement basic technical SEO practices, including URL structure, XML sitemaps, redirects, indexing, and crawlability.
- Monitor website performance, SEO health, traffic, rankings, and other relevant metrics.
- Optimize website speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Identify and resolve website errors, broken links, indexing issues, and other technical SEO concerns.
- Ensure websites are optimized for search engines while maintaining a solid user experience.
- Collaborate with content, design, marketing, and other teams to implement website and SEO improvements.




- Integrate and manage SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and relevant SEO plugins.
- Conduct website testing and ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility.
- Keep WordPress, themes, and plugins updated while maintaining website security and functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1 - 3 years of experience in WordPress development and SEO.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin customization.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Good understanding of on-page and technical SEO.
- Experience with keyword research and SEO optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of website performance and speed optimization.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles.
- Basic knowledge of hosting, domains, cPanel, and website maintenance.
- Familiarity with SEO plugins.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with WooCommerce websites.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO.
- Basic knowledge of link-building and off-page SEO practices.
- Experience with Git or other version control tools is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
