Job Description:
Key responsibilities
• Design, develop, test and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and configuration.
• Translate business and functional requirements into robust Salesforce designs, balancing declarative configuration with programmatic development.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications using APIs and appropriate integration patterns.
• Work across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud capabilities; contribute to Salesforce Industries solutions where required.
• Develop and maintain reusable Apex classes, triggers and services, following Salesforce coding and governor-limit best practices.
• Configure objects, fields, validation rules, automation, security and other platform capabilities to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Participate in sprint refinement, technical design, estimation, implementation and delivery within Agile/SCRUM teams.
• Implement and support CI/CD, source control, automated testing and deployment practices across Salesforce environments.
• Investigate defects and production issues, work with QA and other engineering teams, and drive root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes.
• Ensure solution performance, security, data quality, maintainability and operational supportability across the Salesforce platform.
• Conduct code and configuration reviews, uphold engineering standards, document technical decisions and encourage Salesforce best practices.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, business stakeholders, QA, integration teams and other engineers.
• Take ownership through the delivery lifecycle, contribute to continuous improvement and mentor less-experienced developers where appropriate.

• Solid hands-on experience with Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Objects,



Validation Rules and Salesforce security concepts.
Declarative and programmatic development
• Ability to select the right Salesforce approach across configuration, Flow and code, while producing maintainable, testable and scalable solutions.
Salesforce Industries
• Salesforce Industries / Vlocity experience is a strong advantage, including OmniScripts, EPC / Product Catalog and Integration Procedures.
• DevOps and engineering
• Git or similar version control
• CI/CD and release management for Salesforce
• Apex unit testing, test automation and quality gates
• Salesforce deployment and environment management
• Agile / SCRUM delivery and production support
Experience
Essential
• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience across declarative and programmatic delivery.
• Solid experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows and Salesforce platform development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; Experience Cloud exposure is desirable.
• Experience designing and delivering robust, scalable Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise applications and working with APIs / integration patterns.
• Experience using Git or similar source-control tooling and working within CI/CD and controlled release processes.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams, including refinement, estimation, code review, testing and defect resolution.
• Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good to have
• Salesforce Industries / Vlocity experience, including OmniScripts, EPC / Product Catalog and Integration Procedures.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I / II, Platform App Builder and/or relevant Salesforce Industries credentials.
• Experience with enterprise integration technologies, REST APIs, middleware and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud or energy / utilities business processes.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and DevOps practices for Salesforce, including automated validation and deployment pipelines.
• Experience mentoring developers, leading technical initiatives or contributing to platform standards and architecture discussions.
• Experience supporting high-volume, highly available enterprise Salesforce platforms.
