Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage air import operations from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to clear customs and obtain necessary documentation.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve issues, and provide updates to customers on the progress of their shipments.
- Negotiate rates with carriers to optimize costs while maintaining service levels.
Job Requirements :
- 12-16 years of experience in air cargo industry or related field (e.g., freight forwarding).
- Robust knowledge of air imports regulations, laws, and procedures.
- Proven track record in managing complex logistics operations involving multiple stakeholders.
