Job Description – Safety Officer

Position: Safety Officer
Experience: 2–3 Years
Industry: Construction

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with safety policies and statutory regulations at project sites.
Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness training for workers.
Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
Ensure positive housekeeping and secure working practices across the site.
Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to implement corrective and preventive safety measures.

Technical Skills




Basic knowledge of construction and interior fit-out safety practices.
Understanding of PPE requirements, hazard identification, and risk assessment.
Knowledge of Work at Height, scaffold, ladder, electrical, and fire safety.
Awareness of excavation, material handling, and hand/power tool safety.
Basic understanding of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, including Hot Work, Work at Height, and Confined Space permits.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
