Job Summary – Milling Machine Operator

We are hiring an experienced Milling Machine Operator to operate and set up conventional/CNC milling machines for machining engineering and heavy machine components. The candidate should have valuable knowledge of milling operations, engineering drawings, cutting tools, and measuring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up Milling Machine / Vertical Milling Machine / Horizontal Milling Machine.
Perform milling, facing, slotting, keyway, drilling, tapping and boring operations.
Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
Select and set appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and machining parameters.
Properly align and clamp workpieces before machining.
Check dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer,



Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Handle heavy components safely during loading and unloading.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
Follow machine safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Preferred Experience:
2–8 years of experience as a Milling Machine Operator / Conventional Milling Operator / CNC Milling Operator in heavy engineering, machine manufacturing or machine-tool industries.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
