To supervise shift-wise maintenance activities, coordinate the maintenance team, ensure secure and timely completion of work, and maintain bus availability and quality.

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience

Fresher / Graduate Engineer Trainee / Diploma Engineer Trainee

Depot In-charge / Workshop Manager

Core skills

Technical knowledge, troubleshooting, planning, reporting, communication, teamwork, coordination and leadership

Key responsibilities:
Conduct a briefing before each shift and allocate jobs to mechanics, electricians and other personnel.
Ensure only roadworthy buses are deployed and hold any bus found unsafe or non-compliant.
Monitor daily, weekly, schedule, predictive, breakdown and corrective maintenance.
Coordinate mechanics/electricians for timely and quality completion of jobs.
Inspect vehicles and verify repair quality before release.
Monitor line breakdowns and ensure prompt attendance using proper tools and procedures.
Never permit a bus with brake, Steering, Short circuit, CNG leak or other safety-critical defects to operate.
Ensure drivers are never instructed to remove/refit fuses or bypass faults.




Maintain vehicle history, recurring-defect follow-up, registers, reports and shift handover/communication records.
Ensure PIS/VTS and other assigned electronic equipment are functioning through proper coordination.
Ensure tools and equipment are available, maintained and audited; ensure jacks are calibrated.
Coordinate with stores for materials and maintain minimum stock levels of critical items.
Conduct surprise/snap checks and take corrective action when lapses are found.
Ensure proper housekeeping, discipline and compliance with BEST/OEM/SOP requirements.

Supervisor – Authority & Safety Accountability
Hold a vehicle from service when unsafe or non-compliant.
Approve/recommend action for negligence as per company process.
Authorize/coordinate towing when required with proper justification.
Ensure safety is the first consideration during pit work and line breakdowns.

Ensure no unauthorized driving of buses within depot premises; vehicle movement must follow depot rules and authorized shunting arrangements

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
