Managing Daily Accounting Activities
Record financial transactions in accounting software.
Maintain journals, ledgers, and cash books.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Process vendor invoices and payments.
Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
Bank Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements with company records.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in preparing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Tax Compliance
Prepare and file GST/VAT, TDS, and other statutory returns (as applicable).
Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Payroll Support
Assist in salary processing and employee reimbursements.
Maintain payroll records.
Budgeting and Expense Monitoring
Track business expenses and ensure they remain within budget.
Analyze cost variances and recommend improvements.
Audit Assistance
Prepare financial documents required for internal and external audits.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
Data Accuracy and Compliance
Verify financial data for accuracy.
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Communication and Coordination
Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, and internal departments.
Resolve payment and billing issues promptly.
Required Skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software Zoho Book.
Solid Microsoft Excel skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable tax laws.
