JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Manager – Fruit Processing Plant
Job Purpose

Manage day-to-day fruit processing and factory operations to achieve production targets while ensuring quality, food safety, productivity, yield, cost control and effective utilization of manpower, materials and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute daily, weekly and seasonal production schedules.
Manage fresh fruit receiving, sorting, ripening, pulping, processing, packing and WIP movement.
Handle seasonal fruits such as Sitaphal, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Guava, Kala Jamun, Jackfruit, etc.
Ensure optimum raw-material utilization and minimize wastage and process losses.
Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, QA, Maintenance, Dispatch, NPD/R&D; and Supply Chain.
Plan manpower deployment and monitor productivity, attendance and discipline.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GHP, HACCP and FSSC 22000 requirements.
Monitor production yield, downtime, WIP, inventory and material consumption.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and resolve production-line breakdowns.
Prepare daily production reports and monthly MIS with PPT for management.
Identify process improvements for productivity, yield, quality and cost reduction.
Support current product development,



production trials and process validation.
Ensure proper documentation, traceability, hygiene and housekeeping.
Lead and guide Production Supervisors, Executives and production workforce.

Qualification & Experience
Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Agriculture, Horticulture or relevant qualification.
Hands-on experience in fruit processing, factory operations and seasonal production at least for 5 Years plus.

Role Accountability

Responsible for safe, productive and timely production while achieving quality, food-safety, productivity, yield and cost objectives.

Pay: ₹60,108.72 - ₹79,805.69 per month
