We are looking for a technically skilled and responsible Lab Assistant to support MCA computer laboratory operations, assist faculty and students during practical sessions, maintain lab systems and software, and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
Assist faculty and students during MCA & BCA practical and laboratory sessions.
Ensure proper functioning of computers, networking, peripherals and lab equipment.
Install, configure and maintain required software, programming tools and applications.
Ensure timely system updates, backups and basic IT security practices.
Support programming, database, web development and other MCA practical activities.
Prepare and maintain lab-related reports, records and documentation.
Coordinate with faculty/IT team for technical requirements and maintenance.
Ensure the laboratory remains clean, organized and operational.
Eligibility Criteria
MCA/M.Sc. Computer Science/IT or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Freshers with robust technical knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
Positive knowledge of Computer Hardware, Software and Networking.
Basic knowledge of C/C++, Java, Python, SQL and Web Technologies.
Operating Systems, software installation and troubleshooting.
Valuable communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic documentation.
Knowledge of Windows, DBMS, programming IDEs and development tools.
Basic understanding of network configuration and IT support.
