Job Requirements*
The SABI / Data Modeler will play a key role in the DWHR (Data Warehouse & Reporting) Reports Rationalization initiative by discovering, structuring, and modeling data across legacy [Oracle] and contemporary data platforms [Cloudera].
The role focuses on enabling rebuild or refactoring of reports through welldesigned STAR schemas, businessfriendly data layers, and consumable data structures for Power BI and downstream analytics teams.
The position requires close collaboration with business analyst, data providers, Power BI developers, and data analysts to ensure consistent, governed, and scalable reporting foundations.

Preferred candidate profile

Data Discovery
Identify and assess the availability of data across platforms, including the Legacy Data Warehouse (DWH) and the current Data Reservoir platform.
Support impact analysis by mapping existing reports to underlying data sources and structures.





Finalization of Data Objects
Determine and finalize the required data objects necessary to rebuild or refactor reports as part of the rationalization effort.
Eliminate redundant or unused data elements while ensuring completeness for reporting needs.

Dimensional Modeling
Design and implement Dimensional data models, primarily through the creation of optimized views on top of existing tables.
Ensure models are performant, scalable, and aligned to reporting and analytics consumption patterns.

BusinessFriendly Naming & Semantics
Translate technical column and table names into businessfriendly, meaningful terms while defining views and semantic layers.
Align naming conventions with enterprise data governance and business glossary standards.
