Role & responsibilities
Support and troubleshoot Looker and GCP Data Analytics services.
Manage production incidents, RCA, and stakeholder communication.
Monitor platform health using Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
Resolve data pipeline, performance, and quota-related issues.
Administer IAM, VPC, Storage, and GCP projects.
Automate operational tasks using Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
Collaborate with engineering teams on fixes, deployments, and platform improvements.
Provide L2/L3 support for cloud infrastructure and analytics workloads.

Preferred candidate profile
6 to 8 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) support, cloud operations, or production support environments.
Hands-on expertise in Looker Studio, Looker Original, Looker Pro, and Looker Cloud with robust troubleshooting capabilities.
Solid exposure to Big Query, Cloud Storage, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow, and Pub/Sub services.
Proven experience in managing and resolving production incidents, service disruptions, data pipeline failures, latency issues, and quota-related challenges.
Good understanding of IAM, VPC, networking concepts,



storage services, project setup, and security best practices within GCP.
Experience using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and observability tools for issue detection, diagnosis, and performance monitoring.
Solid scripting and automation skills using Python, SQL, and Shell Scripting.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to improve platform reliability.
Experience supporting customer-facing environments with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Exposure to cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and decommissioning activities.
Preferred candidates will have experience in L2/L3 Support, Cloud Operations, SRE, Data Platform Support, or Cloud Support Engineering roles.
