Responsibilities
Design of attribute, variable, and combined gauges for incoming and in-process inspection.
Design of machining and assembly fixtures, supporting both current product development and existing product capacity enhancement.
Design and development of automation solutions for part loading, unloading, and process automation.
Design of end-of-line test rigs for component performance verification.
Design of assembly stations and special-purpose machines, focusing on ease of assembly and efficiency.
Re-engineer fixture and gauge designs to improve quality and productivity.

Requirements
Educational Qualification: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a Diploma/Post-Diploma/PG-Diploma in Tool Design, Machine Design, or Tool Engineering.
Experience:



58 years of relevant experience in fixture and gauge design, manufacturing, and automation.
Concept Design: Solid conceptual design skills and proficiency in interpreting component drawings.
Manufacturing Processes: Sound understanding of various manufacturing processes and material selection.
Mechanical Pneumatic Knowledge: Familiarity with standard mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components used in fixtures and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
Fixture Gauge Design: Robust knowledge of jigs, fixtures, and gauge design principles.
