Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager – Lending Domain to lead large-scale banking transformation programs and drive end-to-end quality assurance across critical lending platforms.

The role requires strong expertise in the Retail and Corporate Lending lifecycle , along with proven experience in test strategy, governance, delivery management, defect management, stakeholder management, and quality assurance.

Lending Domain Expertise – Must Have

- Robust understanding of Retail and Corporate Lending lifecycle
- Loan Origination, Loan Management, and Loan Closure processes
- Secured and Unsecured Lending
- Personal Loans, Home Loans, Vehicle Loans, LAP, and Business Loans
- Credit Assessment and Scorecard Validation
- Loan Disbursement, Interest Calculation, and Repayment Processing
- NPA, Collections, and Recovery processes
- Loan Restructuring and Foreclosure
- Understanding of lending-related regulatory requirements and RBI guidelines

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Test Management

- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for Lending domain projects.
- Own the overall quality of testing deliverables and ensure timely project execution.
- Develop and implement Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Governance frameworks .
- Define resource requirements, allocation plans, and technical skill requirements.
- Create Test Design, Test Execution Plans, and detailed testing schedules.
- Ensure adequate test coverage across business, functional, and integration requirements.




- Review testing deliverables and ensure adherence to defined quality objectives.
- Drive continuous testing and process improvement initiatives.

Defect & Quality Management

- Manage and monitor the complete defect lifecycle.
- Lead defect tracking, triage, prioritization, and closure activities.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical and high-priority defects.
- Analyze defect trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and preventive/corrective actions.
- Identify project risks and quality concerns and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure release readiness and maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary point of contact for testing delivery and quality-related initiatives.
- Interact closely with banking stakeholders on project risks, concerns, and issue resolution.
- Provide regular status updates to Delivery Managers and Program Managers.
- Coordinate with Business, Development, Project, and other cross-functional teams to ensure testing alignment.
- Escalate critical risks, issues, and dependencies in a timely manner.

Quality Governance & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to organizational testing processes, standards, and quality frameworks.
- Drive process adherence, audits,



and quality governance activities.
- Establish quality checkpoints and review mechanisms.
- Ensure testing deliverables meet defined quality benchmarks.
- Maintain appropriate governance throughout the testing lifecycle.

Metrics & Reporting

- Define, track, and analyze testing metrics and quality indicators.
- Monitor testing KPIs, defect metrics, execution progress, and overall quality status.
- Prepare and present testing dashboards and project quality reports.
- Provide management visibility through regular reporting and review meetings.

- Experience working with banking stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams
