We are seeking a
YouTube-focused video editor
who knows how to transform raw footage into
captivating, binge-worthy videos

This role goes beyond basic editing — you must have a mindset centered on
storytelling, pacing, and maintaining audience engagement
.
? Responsibilities
Edit
long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
with a strong focus on storytelling
Organize videos to ensure:
Compelling hooks within the first ***** seconds
Seamless flow and pacing
High viewer retention
Incorporate:
Motion graphics, zoom effects, cuts, and memes where appropriate
B-roll footage, sound effects, and music to enhance engagement
Collaborate with creators and founders to
transform ideas into captivating narratives
Optionally, repurpose long-form content into
short-form videos (preferred)
Regularly refine edits based on
audience retention and overall performance
? Qualifications
1 to 4 years of experience in
YouTube video editing
Deep understanding of:




YouTube storytelling formats
Viewer retention, pacing, and audience psychology
Proficient in:
Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
Experience collaborating with:
YouTubers, creators, and content teams
⚡ Essential Skills
Ability to:
Create
engaging, hook-driven intros
Maintain
viewer interest throughout the video
Strong aptitude for:
Timing, cutting, and visual storytelling
Capability to elevate
average footage into high-quality content
