, you'll coach a high‐performing team, shape technical direction, and deliver resilient microservices at scale.
? What you'll do
Lead & mentor
a team of Java developers; run regular code reviews and foster a collaborative, learning culture.
Design & build
cloud‐native, microservices‐based solutions using
Java
and
Spring Boot
; develop robust
REST APIs
.
Own the lifecycle
from requirements to design, implementation, testing, and release; champion quality and coding standards.
Raise the bar
on performance, security, reliability, and scalability (observability, resilience patterns, load/perf best practices).
Partner with product
to shape scope, manage timelines, surface risks early, and deliver value iteratively.
Enable CI/CD
and modern DevOps practices to speed up safe, repeatable releases.
? What you'll bring
6+ years
in Java development, including
2+ years
leading or coaching engineers.
Strong
Java
and OOP skills; deep experience with
Spring Boot/Spring Cloud
and
RESTful services
.
Hands‐on with
cloud‐native architecture (CNA)
,
containers
(Docker), and
orchestration
(Kubernetes).
Experience with
API design & integration
; familiarity with secure coding and performance tuning.
Clear communication, problem‐solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring.
➕ Nice to have
Experience with
Azure
(or another major cloud).
Exposure to
DevOps
tooling (Jenkins, Git) and
agile
ways of working.
Knowledge of both
relational
and
NoSQL
databases.
