Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Manager – Sales & Operations in our Inbound Tour Division , specifically handling South India, Wellness, and Sri Lanka .

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the inbound travel market , with excellent expertise in tour costing, itinerary planning, destination/product knowledge, sales support, and end-to-end tour operations . The role requires effective coordination with clients, overseas partners, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive costings and quotations for inbound travel packages and customised tour programs.
- Design and prepare detailed, creative, and commercially viable itineraries for South India, Wellness, and Sri Lanka based on client and overseas partner requirements.
- Handle end-to-end sales and operational execution , from initial enquiry and quotation through confirmation, booking, and completion of travel.
- Coordinate closely with hotels, transporters, guides, and other suppliers to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
- Maintain strong and updated knowledge of destinations, hotels, experiences, wellness products, and tourism services across South India and Sri Lanka.
- Support sales activities by providing strong product, costing, and operational inputs during interactions with clients and overseas partners.




- Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to achieve competitive rates while maintaining service quality.
- Proactively manage and resolve operational issues, last-minute changes, and client concerns.
- Ensure high standards of service quality, accuracy, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Guide and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution of assignments.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales & Operations within the travel and tourism industry.
- Proven experience in handling inbound tours and international clients/overseas travel partners .
- Robust expertise in tour costing, quotations, and itinerary preparation .
- In-depth destination and product knowledge of South India, Wellness, and Sri Lanka .
- Strong understanding of hotels, transportation, sightseeing, guides, excursions, and other ground-handling services.
- Positive commercial understanding with the ability to prepare competitive and profitable travel proposals.
- Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
- Leadership and team-management capabilities appropriate for a managerial role.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
