About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Security Consultant to support SAP security, authorization and compliance activities across implementation, support and enhancement environments.

The consultant will be responsible for designing and maintaining SAP security roles, authorization concepts and user access while supporting SAP S/4HANA security, Fiori security, audit/compliance and Segregation of Duties (SoD) requirements.

The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, auditors and clients to ensure secure, compliant and effective SAP access management.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure and maintain SAP Security and Authorization roles.
- Develop and maintain authorization concepts for SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Perform role design, role modification and authorization troubleshooting.
- Manage SAP user administration, access provisioning and authorization changes.
- Support SAP security implementation, enhancement and production support activities.
- Work on SAP S/4HANA security across relevant business and technical components.
- Support SAP Fiori security and Gateway security .
- Analyze authorization issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and risk mitigation.
- Support internal and external security audits, compliance requirements and access reviews .




- Work with business and technical teams to resolve security and authorization requirements.
- Prepare security documentation, role matrices and authorization specifications.
- Support testing, deployment, go-live and post-go-live security activities.
- Provide client-facing support and communicate security requirements and solutions effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in SAP Security / SAP Authorizations .
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Security and Authorizations .
- Strong understanding of SAP Role Design and Authorization Concepts .
- Experience with SAP User Administration and access management.
- Experience supporting SAP Security implementation, enhancement and production support.
- Experience with SAP security-related audit and compliance activities.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of SoD analysis and access risk mitigation .
- Solid client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control .
- Experience with SAP Fiori Security .
- Experience with SAP Gateway Security .
- Experience with SAP GRC-related access risk analysis and mitigation.
- Experience working on large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programs.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals who can independently handle SAP Security and Authorization activities and work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams and clients.

Candidates with deeper experience in S/4HANA Security, Fiori/Gateway Security, SAP GRC, SoD and audit/compliance will be particularly relevant for the requirement.

Engagement: Full-Time / Contract

Initial Duration: 6 Months

Extension: May be provided based on project requirements and performance.
