Designation: Network Engineer

Education - B.Tech /BE or MCA

CCNA certified with 3- 4 yrs experience

Location : Mumbai(BKC), client site .

• Understanding and Hands-on experience On Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, routers, and Cisco access points.

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting WAN networks using routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.

• Providing LAN/WAN support for customer remote sites.

• Valuable understanding of network protocols and services such as ICMP, SNMP, DHCP, DNS, and NTP, SSH/Telnet, IKE.

• Good understanding knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network-related issues.

• BASIC Understanding & Working knowledge of Cisco ISE,WLC

• Good email writing and communication skills.

• Coordination with third-party vendors for network operations and issue resolution.

• Experience in handling technical bridge calls during network outages and major incidents.

• Cisco Routing

o Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Static and default routing, Static and default routing, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP,

o WAN troubleshooting,

• Cisco Catalyst Switches

o VLAN and Trunking, STP/RSTP/MST, EtherChannel/LACP, Port security, Inter-VLAN routing, Inter-VLAN routing, DHCP Snooping,



HSRP/VRRP, Inter-VLAN routing , Switch stack and redundancy Hardware/software troubleshooting, Inter-troubleshooting , VLAN/VXLAN basics

• Cisco Nexus Switches

NX-OS fundamentals, vPC, Port-channel, STP, Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting

Nexus operational commands, Basic understanding of data-center networking Basic understanding of data-center networking

• Cisco Wireless –

WLC architecture and operation, AP onboarding, and registration

WLAN/SSID configuration, RF fundamentals ,2.4 GHz / 5 GHz / 6 GHz, Authentication and authorization, RADIUS/AAA,

• Wireless troubleshooting/WLC connectivity issues

• Cisco Access Points

AP installation and onboarding, AP modes, SID and VLAN mapping

RF/channel/power configuration, Client connectivity troubleshooting Client connectivity troubleshooting, AP registration issue, Coverage, and performance troubleshooting

• IOS Upgradation of Router Switch AP etc. , Password break up router and switches

• Network Security

Understanding AAA/TACACS+/RADIUS, 802.1X,Cisco ISE fundamentals, Port security, ACLs

VPN fundamentals, Basic firewall concepts
