Job descriptionPosition Title: Deputy Project Director (DPD), PuneDesignation : DGM/GMReporting to : CBOBudget : Up to 40 LPAManage and coordinate projects through all phases of design, planning, construction, liaison and salesProvide leadership for site project management function by managing, coordinating, and developing staff and third party vendorsPartner with Business Head to manage the project operations.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and propose strategic plan, program and budget for projects under control to Business HeadEnsure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting project's internal stakeholders needs, business objectives and design guidelinesManage programs and managers within the project to ensure successful completion and minimum deviation from the project plan in terms of scope, schedule, cost and qualityInterface with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approvalResponsible for tracking and reviewing project Liaison activities. Engagement in Liaison activities has to come from Management on case to case basisResponsible for ensuring that site based teamManages the project team including architects, engineers, workplace consultants,



construction managers and administrative supportDevelops schedules and budgets for assigned projectsIdentifies and evaluates alternative solutions to best meet program goalsPrepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation for project funding authorizationInteract with function heads to clarify specific needs and requirementsEnsure best utilization of resources, minimum wastage of raw materials and emergency (unplanned) purchasesIn certain circumstances, the Deputy Project Director will be responsible for managing special studies, initiatives or due diligence assignments on mutual agreement with up-line managerIdentify potential risks for the function pursuing a rapid growth strategy and develop a risk mitigation strategyD&D; Head and DPD should ensure that the project efficiencies related to Design are met as per the guidelines set by the Leadership during the pre-construction/design phase by value engineering.Education and ExperienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related technical fieldMinimum of 7 years of experience in the direct management of large, complex real estate projects with desired experience/expertise in : Program Management, Site analysis and approvals, Budget Control and Estimation, Design and construction coordination, Project scheduling & monitoring
