ResponsibilitiesOwn box-build and final assembly process architecture, including station sequencing, line balancing, semi-automation concepts, and poka-yoke implementation.Review RFQs, drawings, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements to develop compliant and executable assembly solutions.Develop manufacturing estimates covering cycle times, manpower loading, equipment, tooling, fixtures, NRE, capex, and implementation timelines.Define assembly process assumptions, risks, dependencies, exclusions, and mitigation plans to support bid submissions.Establish torque control, press-fit processes, assembly validation requirements, and critical process acceptance criteria.Design ESD-compliant assembly areas and manufacturing workflows aligned with ANSI/ESD S20.20 requirements.Evaluate equipment, tooling, and fixture solutions, including supplier assessments and make-versus-buy recommendations.Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, quality, operations, automation, supply chain, and finance to ensure execution readiness.Prepare technical calculations, process capacity analyses, and supporting evidence for proposal reviews and management approvals.Define process validation, handover deliverables, and manufacturing readiness requirements for NPI and production launch.QualificationsB.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, ECE, Mechatronics, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.Postgraduate specialization in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations,



or a related field preferred.Strong knowledge of box-build and final assembly manufacturing processes, line balancing, workstation design, and assembly industrialization.Expertise in DFM, PFMEA, Control Plans, process capability analysis, and manufacturing quality planning.Proficiency in process simulation or line-balancing tools, advanced Excel modelling, and assembly equipment programming tools.Working knowledge of ESD requirements, ergonomics, operator safety, yield improvement, OEE, and productivity optimization.Familiarity with PLM, ERP, and MES systems supporting BOM management, routing, work instructions, and traceability.Desired Experience Level8-12 years of experience in Assembly Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing Industrialization, or EMS operations.Proven experience supporting customer RFQs, technical proposals, manufacturing process development, and production ramp-up activities.Demonstrated capability in assembly line design, cycle-time validation, capacity modelling, manpower planning, and automation assessments.Experience defining torque management, press-fit controls, fixture strategies, and assembly process validation methodologies.Strong capability to convert incomplete customer requirements into executable manufacturing solutions with explicit assumptions and risk mitigation plans.Experience working with global customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, supported by robust stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
