UI/UX Designer - Senior

Designs intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences that align with business objectives and customer needs. Collaborates closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into engaging user interfaces and seamless user experiences. Applies user-centered design methodologies, accessibility standards, and usability principles to deliver scalable, responsive solutions across web and mobile platforms.

User Experience & Interface Design

Applies advanced knowledge of UX and UI design principles to create intuitive, visually compelling, and highly usable interfaces. Develops wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business goals and technical constraints. Ensures consistency through reusable design systems, component libraries, and established design standards.

Accessibility & Responsive Design

Designs products that comply with accessibility standards and promote inclusive design principles. Creates responsive experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Understands accessibility testing tools and collaborates with engineering teams to ensure accessibility requirements are implemented and maintained.

Design Systems & Visual Design

Demonstrates strong command of visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, spacing, iconography, and interaction design. Maintains and evolves design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across products. Partners with engineering teams to translate design assets into scalable, reusable UI components.

Design Tools & Prototyping

Proficient in contemporary design and collaboration tools including Figma for interface design, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff. Creates interactive prototypes to validate concepts, communicate user interactions, and support stakeholder reviews.

User Research

Plans and conducts user interviews, usability studies, surveys, and stakeholder workshops to understand customer needs and pain points. Develops personas, empathy maps, customer journey maps,



and user workflows to guide design decisions. Synthesizes qualitative and quantitative research into actionable design improvements.

Usability Testing & Validation

Plans, facilitates, and analyzes usability testing sessions to validate design decisions using real user feedback. Leverages usability metrics and behavioral analytics to continuously refine experiences, ensuring decisions are driven by user behavior rather than visual preference alone.

Information Architecture

Designs logical information structures including sitemaps, navigation models, content hierarchies, and task flows that improve discoverability and usability. Ensures applications provide intuitive navigation and effective user journeys across complex workflows.

User Analytics & Experience Optimization

Understands and utilizes Real User Monitoring (RUM) and product analytics platforms such as PostHog to analyze user behavior, identify friction points, evaluate feature adoption, and measure design effectiveness. Uses data-driven insights to prioritize UX improvements and validate product decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Works closely with Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Participates in design reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance discussions to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Researches emerging UX trends, accessibility practices, interaction patterns, and design technologies. Recommends process improvements, promotes user-centered design culture, and contributes to the continuous evolution of design standards and best practices.

Mentoring





Provides guidance and mentorship to junior designers and team members. Promotes design consistency, user-centered thinking, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Business Experience

- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience designing enterprise web applications and responsive user experiences.
- Experience collaborating within Agile software development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing enterprise software or SaaS applications.
- Experience designing digital products within the Property & Casualty (P&C;) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with accessibility compliance.
- Experience using analytics platforms such as PostHog, Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar behavioral analytics tools.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or component-based frameworks) to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience creating and maintaining enterprise design systems.
