At Shroomery, we’re building a modern mushroom cultivation business focused on producing high-quality mushrooms at scale.

We’re looking for a Team Lead – Cultivation who is curious, hands-on and excited to work at the intersection of biology, food production, experimentation and operations.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Cultivation and play a hands-on role in improving how we grow mushrooms, from culture and spawn production to substrate preparation, inoculation, growing-room management and quality control.

What you’ll do

- Support cultivation trials and experiments across different mushroom strains.
- Plan and coordinate weekly cultivation schedules and movement of grow bags.
- Monitor growing rooms, mushroom growth, yield and contamination.
- Analyse cultivation data and identify opportunities to improve yield and consistency.
- Help optimise substrate preparation, sterilisation and inoculation processes.
- Maintain accurate cultivation records, reports and inventory.




- Work with the team to troubleshoot production issues and implement improvements.

What we’re looking for

- 1–2 years of experience in mushroom cultivation, agriculture, biotechnology, food production or a related field.
- Degree in Biotechnology, Agriculture or a related discipline preferred.
- Basic understanding of mushroom cultivation and biological processes.
- Robust attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- Comfortable working both hands-on in the farm and with data/documentation.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Most importantly: curiosity, ownership and a willingness to learn.
