We Connect is a Hyderabad-based event management company delivering corporate events, exhibitions, brand activations, seminars, promotions, sports events and other experiential projects.

Role Overview

We are looking for Junior Event Architects to support the conceptualisation and spatial planning of events. The role involves turning event requirements and creative ideas into practical layouts, 3D concepts and engaging event environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop event layouts and spatial concepts for corporate events, exhibitions and activations.
- Create 2D layouts, floor plans and basic 3D event visualisations.
- Plan stages, stalls, booths, seating, branding zones, registration areas and other event spaces.
- Translate client briefs and creative ideas into practical event designs.
- Work with Design, Production and Project teams to ensure designs are feasible to execute.
- Prepare design presentations and visual references for internal and client discussions.
- Incorporate feedback and make design revisions within timelines.
- Consider venue dimensions, visitor movement, functionality, branding and production requirements.
- Support site visits, measurements and on-ground execution when required.

Requirements





- Freshers are welcome; 1+ year of relevant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Degree/diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Event Design or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Revit or equivalent.
- Good understanding of space planning, proportions, dimensions and layouts.
- Strong visualisation and creative thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of materials, fabrication and event production.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work within tight deadlines.
- Portfolio of academic, personal or professional work is required.

Ideal Candidate

A creative and detail-oriented individual who can think spatially and is interested in creating physical environments and experiences. Fresh graduates with strong design fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Success in 6 Months

- Develop accurate layouts and concepts for assigned projects.
- Build confidence in event-specific design and spatial planning.
- Understand practical production and fabrication requirements.
- Respond effectively to feedback and revisions.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve the overall event experience.

Selection Process

Candidates will undergo an interview and practical design assessment focused on spatial planning, event concept development, visualisation and practical execution.

Overtime will be compensated as per company policy. Benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
