About the Role

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our engineering team. The candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Go, and PostgreSQL, with a good understanding of building scalable backend systems and APIs.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can understand complex business requirements, design practical technical solutions, and independently build production-ready systems.

We also expect engineers to be comfortable using AI-powered development tools to improve coding productivity, debugging, testing, documentation, and overall engineering efficiency.

Exposure to AI, LLMs, or Agentic AI is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Go.
- Build reliable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise applications.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, schemas, indexes, and data models.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that can scale with business requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
- Debug complex technical problems and perform root-cause analysis.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and backend services.
- Work closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
- Use AI coding tools effectively for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, documentation, and development assistance.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt modern engineering tools and practices.

Required Qualifications





- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Minimum qualification: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualifications are also welcome.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Good hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including database design, SQL queries, indexing, optimization, and transactions.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
- Good understanding of software architecture, design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Understanding of scalable and distributed backend systems.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable knowledge of Git and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and a structured approach to technical challenges.
- Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Gemini, or similar tools effectively during software development.

AI-Assisted Development

The candidate should be comfortable working in an AI-assisted software development environment.

We expect the candidate to be able to:

- Use AI tools to generate and improve code while maintaining ownership of the final implementation.
- Use AI for debugging and identifying potential issues.
- Generate unit and integration test cases using AI assistance.
- Use AI for code reviews, refactoring, and documentation.




- Understand how to write effective prompts for software development tasks.
- Validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Learn new frameworks, libraries, and technologies using AI-assisted research and development.

We are looking for engineers who use AI to become more productive—not engineers who blindly copy AI-generated code.

Experience in AI is not mandatory, but exposure to the following will be an advantage:

Good to Have

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub, or other messaging systems.
- Hands-on Linux experience.
- Experience working on SaaS or enterprise software products.
