Entertainment Reporter – Lokmat Filmy (YouTube & Facebook)

Role: Drive on-set/on-location entertainment coverage for Marathi TV & cinema — running existing IP shows and developing new formats, backed by strong industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and grow robust PR contacts across Marathi TV channels and production houses
- Build direct relationships with Marathi TV/film celebrities for consistent access
- Continue and grow existing IP/franchise shows on Lokmat Filmy
- Conceptualize and pitch new show formats/IPs for YT & FB
- Conduct quality on-set interviews — sharp questions, good rapport, camera-ready presence
- Cover set visits, launches, promotions, award events, and breaking entertainment news
- Coordinate shoots with camera/editing teams for timely, high-quality output




- Track content performance and adapt coverage to what audiences engage with

Requirements

- 3-4 years in entertainment journalism/reporting (TV or digital), Marathi industry preferred
- Established network of Marathi channel PRs and celebrity contacts
- Strong on-camera presence, interviewing, and Marathi communication skills
- Proven track record of running or building IP/franchise content
- Comfortable working across shoots, live events, and fast-turnaround digital content
