The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Principal ActivitiesEnsure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company maintenance standards.Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for plant equipment and machinery.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control-system issues.Attend equipment breakdowns and minimize machine downtime through effective root-cause analysisConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions.Maintain and update maintenance schedules, checklists, equipment history, and breakdown records.Maintain adequate inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables. Maintaining records for the sameParticipate in 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement activities.Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance and equipment servicing.Support installation, commissioning, modification,



and upgrading of machinery and equipmentMaintain maintenance budget and secures estimates and cost quotes as needed.Lead a team of associates and delegating work areas to them.Synchronizing work processes with other departments of the establishment.Effective and efficient use of Lean Manufacturing and associated tools in all areas of the organization.Establish and maintain effective communication such as toolbox meetings, employee meetings, roundtables discussions.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), TPM, RCA, and breakdown maintenance.PLC and automation troubleshooting knowledge.Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, motors, control panels, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with AutoCAD or relevant engineering software.Knowledge of industrial safety practices and electrical/mechanical safety procedures.Experience with maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, equipment availability, and downtime.Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with production and other support teams.Have Knowledge in QMS, EMS, & EHS audits standards.EducationDiploma or Bachelors in Engineering – Mechanical/ Electrical6 to 8 years of experience in the field of facility and plant machinery maintenance.Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance practicesExperience should include heavy machinery maintenance on mechanical and electrical side.Exposure to Preventive/ predictive maintenance practices, lean tools (Lean Six Sigma) PreferredCIRCOR is an EEO Employer of Females / Minorities / Veterans / Individuals with Disabilities
