The company focuses on leveraging advanced technology to make legal work more efficient, data-driven, and accessible.Role DescriptionThe AI/ML Intern will work on-site/hybrid at the Hyderabad office, contributing to the development, testing, and optimization of AI and machine learning models for legal intelligence applications. Day-to-day tasks may include data preprocessing, feature engineering, training and validating models, and assisting in deploying ML pipelines in collaboration with senior engineers and data scientists. The intern will help analyze legal data to extract insights, support the creation of tools for document classification and search, and participate in experiments to improve model performance and reliability. The role also involves documenting methodologies, preparing clear reports on findings, and collaborating with product and domain experts to align technical solutions with legal workflows.QualificationsStrong foundation in machine learning and data science concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and basic statisticsProficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML (such as Python) and familiarity with libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn,



TensorFlow, or PyTorchExperience with data handling and preprocessing, including working with structured and unstructured text data, cleaning datasets, and performing feature extractionUnderstanding of natural language processing fundamentals, such as tokenization, embeddings, and text classification, with interest in legal or domain-specific NLP Solid grasp of transformer fundamental attention, tokenization, embeddings and how fine-tuning adapts a base modelComfortable in Python, with real GenAI project work behind you (a RAG bot, a parser, an OCR pipeline anything hands-on)Ability to read and apply technical research papers, experiment with different model architectures, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholdersCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field; coursework or projects in AI/ML are highly beneficialStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn about the Indian legal ecosystem and its data challengesComfort working in a collaborative, in office environment and openness to feedback and mentorshipWhy Nyayasiddhi This isn't a generic ML internship.
