Job Overview

We are seeking a Resource Management Specialist to drive strategic resource allocation,capacity planning, and delivery optimization. In this key leadership role, you will analyze project demands, resource capabilities, and operational constraints to create seamless allocation plans. Partnering closely with Project Managers, Department Heads, and executive stakeholders, you will align resource management strategies with project timelines and overarching organizational goals.

Job Description

Strategic Resource Allocation & Planning

- Demand Analysis : Partner with project managers and department heads to anticipate, identify,



and define staffing requirements for current and upcoming projects.
- Capacity & Constraint Management : Evaluate project timelines, budget parameters, and resource limitations to optimize allocation efficiency across project portfolios.
- Resource Visibility : Build and maintain an accurate, real-time overview of enterprise-wide resource availability, skills inventories, and allocations.
- Capacity Forecasting : Perform ongoing resource capacity planning to manage skill supply against evolving project priorities and strategic objectives.

Operations, Governance & Reporting

- Utilization Tracking : Monitor and analyze key utilization metrics, delivering actionable insights and proactive suggestions to maximize resource efficiency.
- Conflict Resolution & Negotiation : Act as a central point of contact to resolve resource contention, negotiate cross-functional resource sharing, and manage competing delivery priorities.
- Process & Tool Optimization : Implement, manage, and refine resource management systems (RMA tools), operational frameworks, and governance standards to enhance transparency and operational speed.

Required skills and qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in resource management, delivery operations, or workforce planning,



preferably within a fast-paced, project-based IT technology environment.
- Methodological Expertise: Deep understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization frameworks, tailored to the Indian talent and IT operational context.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong hands-on proficiency with enterprise resource management tools, PSA software, and reporting platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional data analysis and problem-solving abilities to assess complex demand patterns and optimize utilization.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of collaborating across cross-functional leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

- Advanced Degree: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Project Management, Operations, or related business disciplines.
- Certifications: Professional certification in Resource Management (e.g., RMCP) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of project financials, labor costing, margin impact, and operational budgeting.
- Global Operations: Demonstrated experience managing distributed, remote, or hybrid teams across multi- geography environments.
