We’re Hiring | Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax

Arka Advisors is looking for a tax professional to join our growing Tax & Regulatory team in Bengaluru (Jayanagar) .

Role: Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax
Location: Bengaluru (Jayanagar)

We’re looking for someone with solid experience in corporate income-tax compliance, advisory and litigation , who can take ownership of assignments, guide team members and work closely with clients.

What you’ll work on:

• Income-tax compliance review , including tax computations, income-tax returns, tax audit schedules and withholding-tax compliances
• Corporate tax advisory , including research and preparation of technical opinions
• Tax assessments and litigation support , including drafting submissions, appeals and responses to notices
• Valuation of shares and businesses
• Fundraising assistance , including tax due diligence, transaction structuring and review of transaction documents from a tax perspective
• Business restructuring and transaction-related advisory
• FEMA and related regulatory matters

What we’re looking for:




• A qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate taxation
• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in income-tax compliance, advisory and litigation
• Ability to independently manage assignments , review deliverables and coordinate with clients
• Strong research, analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members
• Exposure to valuations, fundraising or transaction advisory would be an advantage
• Prior experience with a CA firm or tax consulting firm preferred
