Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site (5 days a week, in-office) AVP/VP (Senior Avaloq Professionals) role based in Pune City, focused on Avaloq professionals across Business Analysis, Development, and Testing. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring Avaloq solutions, and implementing enhancements in line with client needs and regulatory standards. The role involves hands-on development, parameterization, and integration work within the Avaloq ecosystem, as well as planning and executing test scenarios to ensure quality and stability.

Professionals in this position will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in solution design workshops, support production releases, and contribute to ongoing optimization of Avaloq-based processes. The role also requires mentoring junior team members and engaging with stakeholders to ensure clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications





- 7 to 14 years of experience working with the Avaloq core banking platform in Business Analysis, Development, or Testing, including end-to-end implementation or large-scale enhancement projects.
- Robust understanding of banking and financial services processes in more than 2 areas, such as securities, money markets, credit&lending;, payments, client onboarding, core banking operations, and regulatory/reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation, with the ability to translate business needs into clear technical specifications or test cases.
- Hands-on skills in software development, configuration, or scripting within the Avaloq environment, and familiarity with SDLC, change management, and version control practices.
- Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing, test planning, defect tracking, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, multicultural teams and mentor junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to troubleshooting and optimization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; relevant Avaloq certifications are a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in consulting or in a bank captive, and familiarity with agile or hybrid project delivery frameworks, is beneficial.
