Core accountabilities

- Own the requirements lifecycle from discovery through delivery, converting business needs into functional specifications.
- Shape analytics solution design and user experience for scalable, intuitive and actionable insight.
- Define SAC applications, dashboards and planning use cases, supported by S/4HANA actuals and embedded analytics.
- Partner with data engineering and SAP product teams on ingestion, transformation, harmonisation, security and performance.
- Strengthen governance through KPI ownership, analytics catalogues, data quality controls, standards and data literacy.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, manage interim-state issues and contribute to the evolving Analytics and AI operating model.

Critical capability

- Strong business analysis experience in enterprise analytics and BI.
- Hands-on delivery experience across at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation, including embedded analytics, SAC and Datasphere or BW/4HANA.
- Deep functional understanding of Tax and broader Finance Domain
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex insight to executive and operational audiences.
- Robust grounding in data modelling, KPI frameworks, analytical storytelling and agile delivery.

- Lead end-to-end requirement lifecycle – from discovery through delivery.
- Collaborate with senior business partners across Tax (and Finance) to identify analytical needs, challenges, and opportunities.

- Ensure SAC content supports Top-Floor to Shop-Floor analytics consumption
- Contribute to the design of enterprise data models in SAP Datasphere, including: Analytical datasets, Reusable semantic layers and Business entity models aligned with S/4HANA
- Work with data engineering teams to define ingestion patterns, transformations, and harmonization rules.
- Drive consistency across master data, hierarchies, and reference data to support enterprise reporting.
- Support integration with BW/S4HANA and other data hubs where applicable.
- Bring strong functional understanding of the Tax, including: Direct/Indirect Tax, Corporation Tax, International Tax; Tax Accounting; Tax Data and Compliance
- Define Tax Key Performance Indicators and analytics such for Core and Operational
- Leverage S/4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS Views, Analytical Queries) to support real-time NS&SCP; insights.
- Collaborate with Tax (and Finance) functional teams to ensure analytics aligns with Fit-to-Standard S/4 processes.
- Participate in data management and analytics governance initiatives, including: Analytics catalog design, KPI definitions and ownership, Data quality monitoring
- Promote data literacy and citizen analytics within the business.




- Develop and embed standards and guidelines for the analytics development lifecycle.
- Prepare materials, sample datasets, and processes for Fit-to-Standard workshops.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Analytics & AI operating model.
- Be responsible for navigation of interim states and solving the problems they generate.
- Prepare material, tools, sample data, and processes for Fit-2-Standard workshops.
- Lead integration of analytics and AI into business processes, where possible automating decision making.

Crucial Experience

- Good experience in Business Analysis within Analytics and BI domains.
- Hands-on experience in one or more full SAP S/4HANA implementation cycles, with a focus on: S/4 Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4HANA
- Ability to convey complex information through analytics to diverse audiences, from executives to operational teams.
- Considerable functional exposure to Finance processes, with strong emphasis on Tax
- Good understanding of data modelling, KPI frameworks, and analytical storytelling.
- Strong learning attitude for new SAP tools, business processes, and digital innovations.

Desirable for the role

- Experience with Business Process Management tools such as SAP Signavio, BIC, or Nimbus
- Exposure to regulatory environments (e.g., GxP, SOX).
- Familiarity with AI / ML concepts and their application in enterprise analytics.
- Industry experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, or Bio-Tech.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams of analysts and testers.
- Strong UX and design-thinking exposure for analytics solutions.
- Experience with Planning tools such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, or SAC Planning.
- Relevant SAP certifications (Analytics, S/4HANA, SAC, Datasphere), or certifications in Project Management, BI, Data Management, or Finance.
- Experience working on large-scale, complex, and multi-year SAP transformation programs.
