JOB DESCRIPTION–General Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage overall day-to-day operations of the jewellery showroom/business.  Set and achieve sales, revenue, and business growth targets.  Manage and guide the sales team to improve performance and customer service.  Handle key customers, VIP clients, and important business relationships.  Monitor showroom operations, staff performance, attendance, and discipline.  Ensure proper display, presentation, and merchandising of jewellery products.  Monitor stock, inventory movement,



billing, and jewellery documentation.  Coordinate with purchase, accounts, production, and other departments.  Develop strategies to increase customer visits, sales, and repeat business.  Handle customer complaints and ensure quick and skilled resolution.  Monitor daily sales reports, expenses, targets, and overall profitability.  Ensure compliance with company policies, billing procedures, and operational standards.  Train and motivate employees to improve product knowledge and selling skills. E- Support marketing activities, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.  Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.  Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and business partners.  Prepare regular management reports on sales, operations, stock, and team performance.  Take important operational and business decisions for smooth showroom functioning.
