Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager – MEP (Electrical) to support and manage the execution of multiple MEP projects, with a strong focus on Electrical systems and working knowledge of Plumbing & Firefighting systems.

The ideal candidate should have experience in handling commercial and residential projects, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors, and managing project teams to ensure timely, quality and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing multiple MEP projects simultaneously.
- Take primary responsibility for Electrical MEP works, including installation, testing, commissioning and project coordination.
- Coordinate and monitor Plumbing and Firefighting activities along with Electrical works.
- Review and understand electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, load schedules, BOQs and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, clients, contractors and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Supervise project teams, site engineers, supervisors and technicians and allocate work as per project requirements.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones and targets.
- Handle multiple project sites and ensure proper manpower, material and equipment planning.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with other MEP services to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration of Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting and HVAC systems.
- Monitor material requirements, procurement coordination and material availability at site.




- Review contractor/subcontractor performance and coordinate for timely completion of activities.
- Prepare and review project progress reports, site reports, material requirements and other project documentation.
- Identify site issues, technical challenges and execution delays and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, handover and preparation of as-built documentation.
- Attend client and consultant meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Ensure projects are completed within the defined timeline, quality standards and budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in MEP project execution.
- Strong experience in Electrical MEP works.
- Working knowledge of Plumbing & Firefighting systems.
- Experience in handling commercial and residential projects.
- Experience in managing multiple projects / sites simultaneously.
- Proven experience in team handling and site coordination.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, BOQs and specifications.
- Knowledge of project planning, execution, billing coordination and material management.
- Strong coordination skills with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
- Valuable communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under project deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in commercial buildings, residential towers, high-rise projects, offices, malls, hotels or other large-scale MEP projects will be preferred.
